DOLE, DAR partnership turn over DOLE-ILP Kabuhayan Project for Magallanes fisherfolk

Taod-oy Farmers Livelihood Association (TFLA) of Barangay Taod-oy in Magallanes, Agusan del Norte took a big step forward for their Bangus Production Project as they received the raw materials, tools and equipment, which was funded under the Department of Labor and Employment Integrated Livelihood Program (DOLE-ILP), yesterday, June 16, 2021.

A total of PhP581,385.00 comprised of raw materials, tools and equipment was finally turned-over through the barangay local government unit of Brgy. Taod-oy and handed-over to the said agrarian-group. 

DOLE Caraga Provincial Head Keith C. Duran was delighted for another milestone of the group, in partnership with the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) of Agusan del Norte for its untiring support to realize its common goal, which aimed to ensure the productivity and income of the fisherfolks in the area.  

DAR Agusan del Norte PARPO II Andre B. Atega, CESO V, is happy to see the development project which could provide income to the agrarian reform beneficiaries and livelihood to the locals.

Chairperson Eleonor D. Galera, expressed gratitude to DOLE and DAR for their convergence initiatives for the release of the equipment to their association.

"This will be a great help for a our members," she said.
